Technology and design in the heart of Milan.
Thanks to Easydom and Microsoft, Chateau d’Ax’s shop window has been turned into domotic and with a simple touch, the living room has become interactive.
The synergy created by Easydom, Microsoft and Chateau d’Ax has allowed to bring domotics in a place that represents the Made in Italy concept: the “Fuorisalone del Mobile” in Milan.
On this important event, Chateau d’Ax’s shop window, in Largo Augusto, has been transformed into a big touch-screen, letting the pedestrians activate various domotic scenarios, touching the coloured Windows 8 tiles. Thanks to Easydom and Windows 8 operative system installed on tablets or Windows Phone 8 installed on smartphones, Chateau d’Ax living room came to life.
The touch shop window and an entire domotic area within the showroom, has made the public aware of the potential of the technology applied to living spaces. An innovative user experience which lets the final user try a simple and customizable system – with the creation of light and music scenarios too – and that is available from everywhere, thanks to the mobile apps which allow to manage the commands and keep under control lights, motorizations, cameras and security systems from anywhere.
The fusion of technology and furnishing has become an occasion to show the inventiveness of the future designers, who increase the great prestige of Made in Italy all over the world with their creativity. For the entire duration of Salone del Mobile, the fashion and design projects made by the students of Politecnico in Milan participating at the course held by Chateau d’Ax, have been showed inside Chateau d’Ax showroom.
