Domotics in the healthcare sector

We start by considering a centralized control area, directly from the reception that welcomes the visitors: in this area it's possible to place a pc that monitors the whole system through the management software.
There are standard management functions, that concern lightning and motorizations (shutters and curtains), but there are also specific functions aimed at giving an added value to the building and focusing on the person's safety.

Not last, the possibility of monitoring the inpatient's permanence duration in the bathroom, thanks to a timer set on an established time, that it is activated when the bathroom lights are turned on or when the motion sensor is active: if the light remains turned on more than the fixed time, a visual and acoustic alarm goes off and communicates to the reception personnel the place where the potential dangerous situation is occurring.

Healthcare applications include emergency calls, first aid, videosurveillance integration and the presence of step marker lamps and courtesy lights that turn on at night: it's possible to programme and scheduled all the functions in order to guarantee an accurate use that focuses also on energy saving.
